La tourista... Day 17 continued

Today I booked my flight for spring break, to Nadi, Fiji and then from Fiji to Sydney, Oz (read: Australia). Those tickets plus my ticket back to the University ended up being just under $1000 US, which really isn't bad. Early this week I'm also booking my tickets home, though I'll be home a few days later than I expected, at the urging of my father. Why you may ask? Well the ticket that I found to be cheapest is a ticket with a layover in Honolulu, Hawaii. So, instead of being home on the first of July, I will be home on the 4th or 5th, as I'm going to stay a few days and soak up the sun, since I will have lost my tan by that time. I know, go ahead and hate me. Anyways, I had to go to the STA Travel office downtown to pick up the tickets, which weren't ready anyways, so I went thrifting & bought some shorts and a few other things. I also stopped by Cathedral Square to check out the open air market and street performers. Oddly enough, they were performing Native American Indian dances and were from New Mexico, USA. What a small world. I spent most of the rest of the day trying to fix a problem on my computer, which I eventually did... around two o'clock in the morning.
